Acknowledgement
We recognise the generations of knowledge, tradition and culture that have preserved the lands and waterways on which we walk, and pay our respects to the traditional custodians who have cared for country for aeons. We walk in the footsteps of Australia’s First Nations peoples and remember this always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
About
We started out as a few friends with a shared appetite for fun, adventure and exploration. We’ve been taking on multi-day hikes, with the more experienced of us generously sharing their knowledge, equipment and skills (special thanks to K for leading the charge) to help the rest of us along the way.
As it turns out, multi-day hiking is not as hard as you’d think, and we’re pulling together our tips, tricks, advice and stories in the hopes to demystify the steps to multi-day hiking for those wanting to give it a go. We provide blogs on our recent hikes, our packing lists, food lists and recipes. We hope this blog makes it easier for those wanting to branch out into multi-day hiking by sharing the knowledge we’ve learned and keeping a record of the great adventures we’ve experienced.
I can’t explain the level of fun, friendship, freedom and connection that we’ve had on these trips and hope others (especially our fellow young women) take the opportunity to experience this sort of adventure.
